Sarah Koehnemann, O.D.

Dr. Sarah Koehnemann is excited to provide exceptional eye care to her hometown of Titusville, FL.

Dr. Koehnemann first began showing interest in optometry during high school while shadowing Dr. Aker in 2002.

She later graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Biology & Microbiology. From there, she went on to graduate from NOVA Southeastern College of Optometry with highest honors in 2011 after completing an externship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in ocular disease.

Dr. Koehnemann completed a one-year residency in New York City during which she received specialized training in primary eye care, ocular disease, and low vision at SUNY State College of Optometry.

She joined Dr. Aker’s team in 2012 and introduced a Low Vision Clinic later that year.

Dr. Koehnemann participates every year in the Foundation Fighting Blindness Vision Walk raising research funding for retinal disease. She is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association and serves as Vice President of the Brevard Optometric Association. Dr. Koehnemann is recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.
